same thing here. They actually filed down my nail beds until they were so thin and brittle. And I got a fungus (the green stuff)
I gave it up years ago. Would rather have healthy nails and keep them short.
My husband never loved me more or less because of my nails.
I cannot see endangering yourself for "beauty".
so please be careful.
You are depriving your nails of oxygen when you do the acrylic or the silk wraps.
