My Yorkie coughed all night one night and I rushed him to the vet. They said it was allergies and gave me a bottle of benadryl. Now when he gets the coughs I give him benadryl and it stops it.
Don't give your yorkie benadryl over the counter. Make sure to go to a vet so they can give the proper dose based on weight.
