 Liver problems
My yorkie (Dixie - 9 months) just started vomiting at the beginning of this week and the vet did a blood test which showed she had low blood sugar (hypoglycemic) and put her on low residue food. When I added in evo canned food (per the vets orders) after she seemed better, it started again. So the vet did a bile test and it was really low after fasting and then really high (164) after she ate. They told me to go to Davis for a type of scan that only gets done at Davis. They think maybe a liver shunt. I have a call into Davis. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am just besides myself with worry.
