For anyone who has had/have kids with the flu! My 6 y/o came down with the flu on tuesday.

My questions for anyone would be:

1. He will not eat, he will take 1-2 bites of watermelon (that's all he wants) and maybe I can get 3 little sips of soup down him. How can I get him to eat? Do I need to force it?

2. His head and back hurt him so much and he cries because of the pain. His dr said to just give him tylenol and motrin. they are working for his fever but not the pain. What have you done?

I would love to let him soak in a tub for the pain but his fever is too high.
