I was going to do this. WE were just shopping around trying on rings so he could see the style i wanted. Well I took him to see a jeweler friend of mine at his house (his jewelry store had burned and was being rebuilt) this friend of mine had asked me over the phone what i was looking for and i told him. The point of meeting with him was just so my husband could get some ideas on how to look for a good ring. Well when we got there he just happened to have a box of engagement rings (about 20) all the style i told him I wanted. So why him and my husband talked I tried on rings. When I slipped my ring on my finger i just knew it was it. It's only about a half carat total (maybe a little more) yellow gold, beautiful princess cut in the center with triangular diamond on each side. I knew it was it. I went nuts. Then the jewelry designed my wedding band together. So my ring is different from everyone elses. Not very big and not very expensive. but it wouldn't of mattered if he would of proposed to me with a plastic ring the important thing to me was spend my life with him.
