He might be too young for this...but my puppy is 8 months old and he had a bad habit of nipping our hands and our pant legs while we walked and so I got the suggestion from someone here to get a can of air (like you use to clean your keyboard) and when he does it to spray it (I don't spray it at him just around him) and he HATES the sound of it and he stopped doing it within about 2 or 3 times. Now when I pick up the can he stops and almost acts excited but doesn't bite.
I am not sure if at 8 weeks because they go through a fear stage around that time if it would scare him too much. But we also did the bitter apple thing on our hands...I wish you luck...he will outgrow it as long as your consistant and don't let him get away with it
