ok here is my opinion, and again Please, I hope none of the breeders get mad at me, I know we sometimes have to use the term teacup, so other understand what we are talking about. also I'm only a new Yorkie Owner so I dont know much, however I did do a lot of reading and talk to many many breeders AKC & CKC before ,I became a owner my self. They always told me not to get a puppy advertise to be a teacup, becasue there is no such thing, all yorkies are standard I have read and PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, Please do! but I have read AKC will not recognize or catagorized teacup yorkies, I also read and was told from breeders that have been breeding for over 12 thru 30 years experince that, these tiny pups will, and not all of them but many of them will have problems , since they are so tiny. their sugar will be low, they can break bones very easily, and forget about breeding a tiny girl ( complications all over) I will tell you that my baby is very tiny, So I might be contributing to the demand for small tiny yorkies, I din't purchase him because he was tiny neither did the breeder advertise him as a TEACUP Yorkie, she just say his father was 31/2 pounds and his mother weights about 6 pounds, His father was kind of small but she did assure me.he might be small he might be big she coun't guarante the size. I was also told to stay away from those breeders tha cross breed ( AGAIN PLEASE< I DO NOT WANT TO OFFEND ANY BREEDER

)because even if you get papers that say they are pure breed how do u really know if there is different males with the female ( I know you could tell my the marking, but sometimes you can't) but if you are like me, I always look for was is best for the breed and to AKC standards. I don't show my dog or even plan to breed at the time. But I felt in love with the breed and the day I went, Just to look at puppies It was love at first site with my Nemo. I'm sorry to go on for so long. I think everyone has different prefrences and regardless of the color, size or mix breed our babies are we al have in common that we love them. In my opinion this website sounds like is people who really care about their dogs and well been of them and are reasonable, in a way, I my self do not feel confortable getting puppies were there is more than one breed . ( I know is hard to find since , normally breeder , breed one or 2 breeds)As far as what I read their is no Teacups and no one should charge extra for the size, and no one should definatly not charge extra for a crossbreed animal,Breeding consumes alot of time , energer and lots & lots of money and sometimes a few brokehearts. I think when you get your puppy find one that is a reasonable price for you. Go look around , check a few breeders out before you make your decision, See in what condition they are how outgoing or how shy the dogs are, look at their coast, teeth check their papers, look to see if their is other males with that female of another(only if your truly intersted in pure breed) I myself ended up paying a lot more than what, I really wanted, but when I look back it was worth I would do it again and wold probably even pay more.. Good Luck, just become more aguanted with the breeders meet the parent of your porspect baby. again I'm sorry for writing such a long book . I just like to express my feelings and opinion..

Good LUCk xoxox to all breeder and Yorkie owners
