I'm afraid I can't help ya out with this one. I had Maggy on a feeding schedual when she first came to us, but then with all the medical problems she had, I tossed the schedual out the window and started free feeding her. My vet said as long as she wasn't gorging herself on the food in really large quantities and knew when to stop, she'd be just fine with free feeding. Hope someone here is able to answer your question.
