I think when people pay the $ for a smaller dog and it gets bigger than what the breeder said it would they are disapointed in the fact that they may have paid a lot of money for what they were told about a puppy not get over a certain size. I would like to believe they have grown attached to the dog itself and loves it no matter what. A size of a dog is not promised it would be like the Dr. telling your child is going to have small feet and 1 year later your child is wearing a size 15 shoe. I just wish breeders would not tell people puppies will stay small as adults if they have no way of telling.
