For a while I let Charlie sleep in the bed with us because we had our inlaws dog stay over and he got in the bed no matter what and I felt bad that Charlie was left out so he slept with us for about a week and he didn't pee in the bed. Last night he went back into his crate because he's not quite potty trained and he'd go pee on my carpet

Maybe when he's fully potty trained.
