About 5 days ago...*hmm, Marcel seems to be itching more lately*
About 3 days ago...*hmmm, Marcel is pawing at his eyes again, what the heck*
About 2 days ago...*hmmmm, Marcel is licking at his paws, THAT is odd/new*
Yesterday afternoon...*hmmmmm, Marcel is BITING/chewing his back paws, OMG!!!!!!!!*
I start bonking my brain thinking of *what* he could've gotten into (food wise) and then it dawns on me to check the outdoor allergen levels (I found
www.pollen.com - what a GREAT website) and our pollen in AZ is OFF the scale!!!!!! My poor baby, I swear, would have eaten his paws - I can't imagine the misery they must feel in their feet to want to chew them like that.
So, I gave him some chews - which does help, and eventually some childrens benadryl (which barely touched him); but really, all he wanted to do was chew his little back feet
. I emailed his nutritionist this morning, so hopefully she'll suggest something.
Anyone else deal with strong reactions to pollen?
