Maybe you could start out slow and put him in his own bed in your room for a little while. When he jumps on the bed, put him back in his own bed. You might not get any sleep for a while, though. Then, gradually move him out of your room. I think its sad to not only make him sleep in his own bed, but not let him be around you at all while he sleeps. Making such a drastic change in his life will probably upset him and you'll have more behavioral problems.

Brody has gradually been sleeping somewhere besides my bed, but it was his own choice. I think I moved too much at night. Then I put his bed in my room and he LOVES it. He'll sleep there all night instead of my bed. He still jumps up sometimes in the middle of the night (usually around 5 or 6 am), but he is mostly on the ground. When my boyfriend spends the night, Brody will sleep right on top of me. But then he'll decide that he is too tired to be protective and he'll go sleep somewhere else.

I definitely would move slowly and try not to cause any major crisises in your puppy's life.
