Hello everyone. I guess you have been wondering about where Lucy was going and who her new mom is going to be. I am the lucky one. I have two yorkies...Alyssa who is l0 pounds and Emily Kate (Emmy) who is 7. To take on a 3.5 pounder brings on new issues. Once I found out that Lucy was coming to me I talked with Rhonda a lot over the next few days. Arrangements were made and she was to fly from Charlotte to Memphis and then change planes. She would then fly from Memphis to Chattanooga. The day for her arrival came. I spent most of the day crying but not really knowing why. I felt so emotional for Rhonda having to say good bye...and playing with her for the last time and then letting her go on the plane alone. Her flight began around l0 and ended at 6 when she finally was in my arms. She is the most beautiful and smartest little girl you would ever want. She is also spoiled rotten. Today we went to the Petstore to buy some things. She slept all night last night without crying. At the end of the day today she had actually pottied outside. I was so proud of her. She got her favorite treat. Thank you Rhonda for sharing this little girl with me. I will do the best of my ability to continue to spoil her. I will post pictures of her on YT so everyone can watch her grow up. Today Lucy and Emmy actually played together.
