i've gotten comments about Kash too. when people ask me if he's a teacup, i feel just a little rude saying, "there's no such thing as a teacup yorkie. there are just small, medium and large." they probably just think to themselves, "yeah right" or "she thinks she knows what she's talking about."

Kash is between 1.5 and 2 lbs at 13 weeks (which means he's supposed to be about 4lbs full-grown, but who knows for sure), and people still say they want smaller! this one lady picked him up and yelled to her friends, "this is the type of dog i want, but i want the teacup kind!" i was like, "they usually don't get smaller than him, and if they do, it's only by a pound or two... and the smaller they are, the more likely they are to have health issues." but people don't care... they just tune you out.

my baby is 1.8 pounds at 13 weeks so your baby is as big as mine.. she is SO TINY.. i cant imagine someone saying she was "too big".. thats just crazytalk!! its funny, cus when i got her, she was smaller about 1 pound and i thought wow shes really really little, and id heard so much teacup stuff.. thjat i went and got a big coffee mug and tried to put her in it and she didnt fit!! i dont even know where that term started.. all those pics must have really enlarged BOWLS WITH HANDLES that these PUPPIES (yes they are puppies--people dont realize) are in. i really dont think there are any full grown yorkies out there that can fit in an actual teacup.. but some people seem to think they are out there and exist and can be purchased for a nice pricetag!
