Yorkies are prone to trachea problems. It is never recommended that you put them on a lease with a collar. Even without the pulling, their tracheas are prone to collapsing and you don't want anything causing it.
Please buy a harness and use that instead. I would hate to see a problem like that happen when it could have easily been prevented.
For Kaba I keep a collar on her all the time with her information attached but she has a seperate harness for walking on a lease. (for the rare times that actually happens)
