NAME: Debi ( or Debbie, or debra, or "MMMMOOOOOOMMMM" or NANNY!!!!)
Yorkie's name and age: Lil Bit...16 weeks and weighing in @ 1 pound 8ounces
Where are you from: I'm an "Army Brat"...lived just about everywhere...but
have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina for past 26 years....so this is
home now.
What made me decide to get a Yorkie: I had Oscar for over 13 years...his
death 2 years ago devastated me....he was our 'kid' after our daughter
moved out....I have been secretly searching for another and finally got
her 3 weeks ago!!!!
Breeding: No...but if this puppy will get big enough I may have one litter so
my daughter can have one....after her kids grow a bit!!!
Do I have any other pets: YES!! I have an old, retired racing
greyhound ....Lori...(age 13 years) who is probably not long for this
world..... and a 10 month old chihuahau named Apple.....got her
by 'default' when my yorkie/mix puppy died....but now love her to death
and is Lil Bit's best buddy!
What are my hobbies: UUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHH....currently trying to find a few
minutes to check in @ Yorkietalk...also reading and chasing grandkids...
and loving on the dogs....
Married/engaged/dating/single: Yes.....LOL...married 28 1/2 years.......
......... .....ugh..yes , it IS a long time!!!
Does my hubby love my yorkie as much as I do: He would never admit it ...
but I catch him worring over her not eating or taking her meds
Any children/ages: one daughter,Amanda....age 27 and 3 grandkids, Beth, a
step-grand age 12, Adam, age 4 and Macy, age 22 months....and an
upcoming international adoption but sex unkown.
Anything else interesting about me: I will be turning 50 years old in 5
weeks....I am running away from home ALONE for my birthday....I am
writing a book about the whole experience.....I am a pediatriac Home
Health Nurse ..I get to play with tiny premature babies EVERY DAY and
they even pay me to do it!!!!.....
****I have decided I know 2 things to be true:
1)I cannot control people, the only thing I can control is how I react to them
2) At age 49 I have decided I am having a BLAST and I drink champagne every night!!!!!
