I do both! When it first got long enough to put it in a top knot I put it up and EVERYONE I knew had a laugh about it. Sooo when I cut his hair the first time I cut his top knot off and it was cute. But now its grown out into a really cute boyish cut even with his top knot in, so I've been putting it up. No bows though just bands.
