we have two shih tzus 7 and 9 besides our 4 month yorkie. i feel sorry for winston our yorkie because he tries to play with the big boys and they don't want anything to do with him yet. They will be in the same room, but 7 old will turn his butt to us and the oldest is my real problem right now. He will growl and most of the time it is just a warning. I try to keep winston from bugging him to much. But the 9 bit at me which he has never done, and last night they got into it--everyone is ok, and maybe it scared winston enough that he wont go near him now. it really bums me out. the 9 was fine till we got 7 and he ignored him first but now they are best of friends. i hope it will turn out this way for them too. winston and 7 were sleeping on couch together the other dayand i was thrilled. I have tried walking all 3 together and it works out wonderfully. they do seem to bond on the walk. hope this helps.
