We have one and love it too. We had another model of a steamer and it left the floors very wet and I didn't feel like it cleaned at all. With the Shark, the floors are dry almost immediately. There is a ton of steam that comes out and, yes, it does clean the grout pretty well, too. We have ceramic tile in the kitchen, pergo flooring throughout the living room and two bedrooms and laminate flooring in the bathrooms. The cord would be a little longer and definitely get some extra pads. I wash mine after every use, and I use two of them when I use it and they look great.
