but Kash has an appointment for shots on saturday, so i'll ask the vet about it then... i don't feel extremely worried about it, but it won't hurt to ask. the whole rest of his body is fine (no hair thinning or loss). on the contrary, he has very thick hair everywhere else!
Ya, it's always best to talk with your vet about it just to be safe. If he is concerned, he can always do a skin scraping. I was HORRIFIED when I seen the pics of the dogs online that had it, so horrified I cried! I love Maggy may so much and just want her to be healthy, and FINALLY, she seems to be on her way to that. I took her back for her re-check two weeks after being on the meds (Goodwinol) and there were no mites, YAY!! They actualy did two scrapings just to be sure, one on top of he head and one on her neck and they were both negative. They still want her on the meds though for another two weeks, that way she's had a good 4 weeks treatment with it. They didn't wanna rush with her shots since her immune system had been down so she goes back in two weeks for her shots. I hope your furbaby is ok and doesn't have it. Soon as Maggy turns 6 months I'm taking her in for a check up and see if she's healthy enough to be spayed, as I've read that the stress of going into heat can also make it flare up again. Best of luck to you and your furbaby.
