I know everyone is going to jump ALLL over me for this one, but I'm entitled to my own opinion, so here goes.

I am against cross-breeding dogs for "designer" reasons. However, Labradoodles and Goldendoodles or what ever they're called, I am ok with. For one reason- it makes them non-allergenic (sp?) and people who want a big dog are able to have them. They are not bred that way for "designer" reasons (for the majority) but for people who are allergic and want a large dog. Like my boss, his wife is allergic to animals, and he has a disabled 5 year old daughter. He can't get a poodle because they will be too small, and his daughter could fall on it or what not. He was looking into a labradoodle because labs are GREAT with kids and disabled people and, the poodle in it would make it ok for his wife.
