My daughter announced that she is going to be ready to move to ATL in early APril and she is taking Mika with her, because after all, Mika is HER dog. I know you will all say "Oh well just get your own yorkie", but it's not that simple.
With my daughter here and working nearby, she could come home for Mika Mid-day, adn the crate thing did not seem so terrible. One of my own would have to stay in there far too long. (daycare not an option, I live paycheck to paycheck, and I am still paying for Mika).
I travel a lot, and most of this is international where I can't take the dog with me. Having my daughter and Mika as a package deal was perfect, as I could have the love of a yorkie, and my daughter was there (no huge kennel bills, not that I would want my baby on one of those long anyway).
But now I will be daughterless, and yorkieless
