I guess that is something your vet will decide but Ellie would not be getting it. Lyme's is usually treatable with antibiotics, the shot has to be given yearly and it may be linked to renal failure. Yes, there could be a bad outcome if you don't give it but a liver compromised dog cannot have too many vaccines. Because of the fact that it can cause renal issues alone, I'm not sure I'd ever give it.
