He's been in since Monday. Mama called me at work and said she heard him moaning early that morning and when she checked on him, he was shivering so hard the whole bed was shaking.

She tried to get him up to go to the Dr and couldn't, so she had to call an ambulance.

He was admitted and all kinds of tests have been done. Chest x-rays are clear, bloodwork is good. He's very dehydrated, but has been getting fluids since Monday. He's nauseated and his heart is racing. His Dr says it's gastrointeritis and a virile infection. His temp runs from 101 to 103.

He getting meds for the racing heart but he's NEVER had a problem with his heart before.

I'm scared - I'm scheduled for bariatric surgery next Wed (12th) and Mama doesn't want me to come to the hospital because she doesn't want me to catch anything before my surgery. I feel SOOOO guilty for not being there!
