I have tried a regular pet store harnesses and a Gentle Leader for Tucker, and I'm not thrilled with either. He PULLS when we walk, and so we got the Gentle Leader. It helps with the pulling, but he spends a lot of time stopping and trying to get it off his nose. And, just FYI, they can still open their mouth on the Gentle Leader, both to bark and pick up things. They even say this in the directions that come with it. It's not supposed to keep their mouth shut. and people do think you have a biter when they see it
which is great!
