First off,, Welcome to YT!! and you have a cutie there!!! 3 girls here,, Cricket (my oldest) was over a year before i took her in for her first grooming,, and she did great! I just couldnt stand leaving her there so long! and she really doesnt need much done very often,, then we added Daisy,, and she needed grooming after a few months,, so i began taking them both in together,, and that went well,, until our groomer moved somewhere else and i dont like where,, and cant find another groomer situation i'm happy with,, Sooooooo,, I'm learning to do it myself! and doing rather well,, thanks to the videos mentioned in the prior post!! its all a matter of choice,, and of course the dogs needs!
