You said that there is a reference #? Get the reference number and
there should also be a phone number for the agency that has this
so called lien against you. Call the number yourself and explain the
situation. You will have to supply your SS number to them so they
can check it out and if they can find no record of any lien have
them immediately fax you a record stating that so you have it for
your own reference incase you run into this again. We thought all
of ours was cleared up and low and behold it appeared again and
we actually had to come out of pocket to get the stupid thing off
of our backs until it could be sorted through. Our money was
eventually returned but what a pain in the butt. There is really
no sense in worrying this is something that is kind of beyond your
control at the moment so don't drive yourself crazy over it. I know
that it sucks to have little surprises pop out of no where but in the
end it will turn out O.K.
