Girl, I totally hear you. I work 2nd shift, not exactly the same, but still, it takes some adjusting. I would suggest not going to bed right after you get off work. Take a shower, eat some dinner, try to live like it is earlier. I get off work between 11 and 1 most days, and I come home, shower, make dinner, spend some time with the pups, and then go to bed. It helps me sleep later. If you are serious about keeping a job at these hours, then you have to adjust your life accordingly. If you were working a 9 to 5, you wouldn't get up 5 hours before your shift, so try to keep yourself in bed longer. and if you did work a 1st shift, you would probably stay up 4 or 5 hours later after you got up work. Just start trying to stay up a little longer each night. Try to watch the sunrise after you get off work. Walk your dogs once you get home. Anything to adjust to a normal work day schedule, with time for you before and after work.

Best of luck! I have tried working 1st shift and like 2nd shift jobs much better. (most likely because I am a perpetual college student)
