Your name: Brandi
Your Yorkie's name and ages: Hercules will be 6 months on the 1st. He's weighing in at 5.2 pounds. And we'll have a little girl in about a week. More details on her will follow, in fact probably more than you'll want to know! hehe
Where are you from: Grew up in Chesapeake Beach, MD. Now live in Crofton, MD. Pretty good location, about 30 miles from DC and Baltimore.
What made you decide to buy a Yorkie: I have always wanted a yorkie, so when my boyfriend and I moved in together, I thought the timing was finally right.
Breeders: How long have you been breeding, how do you like it? What made you decide to start breeding?: Not a breeder, but I definitely appreciate all those breeders out there! Such hard work, but so rewarding too!
Have/do you have any other pets: Nope, I grew up in a family that wasn't really into pets. But ever since I got Hercules, I know "understand" what it is like to have a pet and love it like it's a human.
What are your hobbies?: Hanging out with Hercules. Seriously, right now my dog is my life. I plan on him continuing to have a major role in my life, but it seems like during puppyhood, a lot of time needs to spent with them to train them properly.
Are you married/engaged/dating/single?: Dating a great, wonderful guy. Did I mention how great he is?? We've been together 4 1/2 years.
Does your significant other love Yorkies as much as you?: Oh yeah! So much so, that he is getting a little girl now. I think it's hilarious how much guys can fall in love with these little dogs!
Do you have any children? If so, what are their ages and how are they doing with your Yorkie?: No human kids yet, only yorkie children!
Anything else interesting that will help us to get to know you better?: I work at the Census Bureau as a survey statistician. I've been working there since 1999, right out of high school. Kept working part-time while I went to college full-time. Graduated from University of Maryland in December 2003 and then got the full-time job at Census. Right now, living on my own for the first time (with boyfriend) and having Hercules are the main things in my life. But they are both the greatest things ever, and I'm so very happy!
