I commend you for taking this on. It is a time consuming process and there are different ways to treat it.
Our Samira (the biewer in the avi) had Dem. Mange when she came to live with us... I also took her knowing this ahead of time and it is because of her condition that she was placed with us. She has fully recovered and is thriving now. My advise is to find a vet you absolutely trust and follow their instructions to the "T"! And... be wary of people who dole out advice and opinions that don't have any experience with it.
