Initially I thought that might be the problem but I haven't used any flea medicine or products in about 4 months. And the heartworm medicine was given a week before the latest rash. She had been outside in the yard for a while (an hour?) but she's done that before with no obvious problems. Plus, I imagine if she had a grass allergy she'd be licking her feet like crazy. But she's not. Nor is she rubbing her eyes, etc.
We're careful not to give her table scraps aside from an occasional bite of cooked egg or a tiny (smaller than a dime) taste of salmon - no more than twice a month. Oh, and instead of traditional treats, we give her canned cut green beans. Again, she loves them and has no stomach problems from them.
It really is a mystery at this point. I guess we're going to treat her for "general allergies." |
