I agree and to the OP, have you read "The Joy of Breeding Your Own Show Dog"?
To be honest, I wouldn't even consider breeding these dogs because it doesn't sound like you have their history. What if one of their great grandparents had a liver shunt? That isn't going to show up by testing the parents but the puppies could still end up with this problem. For the sake of the dogs, please health screen, STUDY THE LINES and make sure they are standard before going any farther.
