Oh the heartburn one made me think of another one. I've always had pretty nice skin but when I was pregnant with my daughter I developed major acne. My face, my chest, my back- it was an absolute nightmare. A friend told me her MIL told her this-
When you are pregnant with a girl, you are putting all of your beauty into her. It made me feel a bit better.
Little did I know that after having her I would lose half of my hair and it would take a year for my skin to clear up.
