Just keep her brushed each day and that will keep out all the puppy fuzz as they shed it for the new hair. I wouldn't cut her at all. I'd just trim around the feet, ears, bum, and let it grow nicely. Keep in mind that the long hair keeps them cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
