My oldest daughter (Des) was born 30. When she hit 1 1/2 she was talking in full sentences. Compeletly potty trained soon after that. By the time her brother came she was almost 3 and she thought she was the mommy. And when her sister came,,, for get it. She was only 6 but she so in awe with her baby sister. She fed her, she changed her, she even helped with giving her baths. She would even get up in the middle of the night to pat her baby sisters back and sing to put her back to sleep. It really didn't get to me all that much when she hit that "mature" age.

Now my baby is that age (9) and there is tiny little signs of her needing a training bra. And both me and Des are not handling it very well at all. She still is a mommy's girl. I don't think anything will ever change that. But seeing her change physically is really hard!!! Des is always asking me,,, "Mom, why did she have to go and grow up?" We don't like it one bit!!!
