I try to err on the side of caution...I would call poison control (which is free) and your vet as well. Chances are that if it WAS b/c of mouse bait, your little one didn't injest enough to do any harm. (They actually have to eat alot more than you think for it to be harmful.) But really, not a chance worth taking, IMO. I'd call to be safe.
