so sorry you guys... I have completely forgotten to come back and update everyone
I talked to my friend last week.. and he told me he called the shelter and they got him reunited with his owners (all thanks to microchip).. I don't have any other details other than that... I think that's all he asked them
But at least now we all know he's safe with his owners
