Ok, so its only 4 puppies. I just got home from the emergency vet and apparently the vet said the xrays got mixed up and that she only had the 4. He redid xrays and nothing else in there. I showed him the one we did that showed all of the other ones, he said that it may have been mixed up with another dog. Definately only 4 and we are done!
Kind of a relief on all sides, no puppies after 3 hours, no sign of anything. (I was thinking maybe some oxy was in order.)-or worse!
Now, I am not as scared of eclampsia as with the 7-8 puppies on her 'other xray' . 4-I can deal with, 7or8...heck no!
Anyways,
I am off to bed, mom and babies doing good.She is such a good mommy! She almost bit the Vet when he came too close to her and her babies.
