Currently we have a little gate in the front of the store on the inside of our store after you walk in, you have to push open the waist high gate, then... we cut a doggie door right into the back office door that leads to our back room. We stuck the girls petOpotty right in one of the bathrooms.
It's great in theory, but since there is a nice median of grass right outside our store, we've never taken much time to teach them to use it. Plus our store usually always has like 4 employees in it so there is always someone to take the girls out.
We are getting ready to open our second store in a mall. They were not sure if we could put up a gate or not? if we can't the girls are going to have to stay at home, or at our strip mall store.
we'll see how it works out.
