Addi will be fine and all the healthier for it in years to come. You're doing the right thing.
Sometimes they act a little 'drunk' when they come home, but they quickly bounce back. Just do as the vet says, and try to keep Addi from feeling too good too soon. Sometimes they want to be more active than they should be.
