First off...I am sorry you are going through this.

I believe she is beyond the point of being easily palpated. $400 for a pregnancy ultrasound is beyond ridiculous. Find someone in your area who works in theriogenology, they can do the ultrasound for less and if she is pregnant they will be able to estimate about how far along she is, number of fetuses and viablility.

But Deana is very right, if you male has a medical condition that has any chance of being passed on you really have to think about what could happen to these babies. Sometimes we have the chance to stop suffering before it begins, and I am not looking to start an ethical debate about spaying a pregant female, just saying sometimes it is the lesser of the two evils.

She is a good size for a yorkie which is good, but I will say from our experience you are still looking at a good chance of a c-section, and a c-section will be a lot more than $400. Just something to think about.
