As far as having them aborted, I don't think I could do that UNLESS S'anah was in danger.
I went searching on here and found something about false pregnancies. Do ya'll think maybe that could be it? We were only gone for around 2 hours, 3 at the most. I have no idea how long she was out of the bedroom. Her hoo hoo didn't appear at all like he had gotten her. I am not exaggerating when I tell ya'll I looked it with a magnifying glass.
Thanks for not yelling at me. I know it isn't the end of the world - as long as S'anah is Ok. I love her so much it WOULD be the end of the world if anything happened to her though. I just don't think I could go on without my Poopanut. She is my world. |
I don't know if you can tell by looking??? Yes, it could very well be a false pregnancy but if she was in heat during that time they were together..she could very well be pregnant.
Many dogs have puppies and are fine, but I promise you that there are real risks. Dogs DO die giving birth. I've heard many stories of dogs developing infections afterwards or getting enclampsia. There was a story on here recently where the mom developed enclampsia so quickly that she died on the way to the vet. There are many many things that CAN go wrong. So while she might do perfectly fine, there's always that chance that something can go terribly wrong.
My advice is to have her spayed ASAP.
