If I am away from my desk, my assistant watches the girls until I get back and pages me if there is a need. I have had several litters over the years while at work with no complaints from coworkers or employer. When the puppies are little, I bring mom and puppies to work each day until I am sure that they can be left at home. I then just go home for lunch to let mom out and check on the babies. So far, I haven't had any problems with the moms or the babies. I have also found that puppies that go to work with my when they are very young are never car sick later in life. May be a coincidence but who knows!

I will be on puppy watch starting the 14th and already have coworkers asking when the mom -to- be will be coming!!!

Hopefully, you can work out a doable situation.
Best of luck.

WOW Where is it that you work that you are able to not only bring your girls to work with you, but also have them whelp there. I want to get a job there. That is awesome!
I work full time with a very flexible job position/department. So when I (my girl) had her first litter last year it was known that I would be home when she had her puppies and at least a weeks vacation after. As it turned out, I took the first week after off and my hubby stayed home the next week.
