My Buddy is so sweet--most of the time. In Buddy's case, the adage is true, "Let sleeping dogs lie." If Buddy is moved or touched in his sleep, he may come up snarling and snapping. He would bite if anyone tried to take his treats, but is not as possessive or aggressive with his regular food. If he is awake, he is barking--for food, to go out, to come in, to play, to potty, to be picked up, to be put down. He is a very demanding, time-consuming dog, but I love him with all my heart. We are lucky to have him, and he is lucky to have us, because I'm not sure how many others could have the noise and grouchy little personality and still love him. |
