Default Wow did not notice

the age, Tthat pup was taken from its mom at 5 weeks? Please tell me that was a typo. In most states it is illegal to remove any pup from its mom prior to 6 weeks of age, and most breeders will keep a pup a minimum of 8 weeks. I got my boys when they were 12 weeks old. My next yorkie will be a minimum of 4 months prior to me taking them home with me, just to be extra safe. I think (and this is just my opinion) that the longer they stay with mom, the easier the transition to being on their own is and I think that it helps with their training, they are older and more ready for the potty training. Again JMHO. Switch gradually to a premium food, if you read the ingredients on the puppy chow you will see that it is not a good grade for your pup. Good luck and let us know how he is doing.
