Usually she will come out and go on the pad. SO in 2 weeks of doing this she has started to use the pads on her own when she doesn't know I am watching her or if it has been awhile I say go potty on the pad and she goes most of the time. We still have occassional accidents but not many. I honestly thought their was something wrong with her mentally at first she just didn't get the idea of pottying on the pads, even though the others were using it to. I know I still have a ways to go but I am so less frustrated. So hang in there they eventually get it. |
You can get an enzyme cleaner at any petstore. I get mine at Petsmart, and I use Simple Solution. There's also Nature's Miracle. Just look on the bottle and it should tell you whether or not there are enzymes present in the cleaner. The uric acid in urine binds to the carpet fibers and regular cleaners can't get that out. The enzymes are important because they actually engulf the bacteria that remains in your carpet, so that there are no traces of pee or poop left.
