I understand how upsetting the content is, but since when is this site supposed to be.....only about certain things? Where is that said? What else, then, shall we censor? There are things I don't like seeing on here (certain subjects), but I would never raise my hand and say "why are these things allowed to be posted?" - bc maybe they are important to others.

I don't think you are trying to start anything at all. My post wasn't in any way directed to you, I actually haven't seen the thread you posted. It was more the posts where it says, "sad" in the title then you open it up and there are links that take you to terribly mangled animals or news about an animal being raped without a warning (just to name one and this one was quite some time ago). I too do not believe in censoring, I know there are things we need to be aware of but I have been caught off guard a couple of times and could not get the image out of my head.
