Max, my one and only is:
Serious and sensitive~ if my dh and I argue, Max is right there, jumping on my legs, and kissing me all over when I pick him up. It's like he is saying "it's alright, Mommy; I love you"
Extremely loving and very much a protector. He wants to be with Mommy all the time, but when Daddy is home, he'll sleep on the bed with him when he takes his nap. Is content to pretty much sit on Mommy's lap at all times or have her carry him around.
Playful, but not destructive
Very discriminating as to who he allows into his personal space (however far that extends at any given time)
Excellent watch dog~ the gardeners don't stand a chance.
Polite and well-behaved (unless a stranger tries to pet him
)
Very good communicator~ he runs to get you if there's something he wants you to look at and guides you to wherever the problem is (like someone at the front door, or someone outside the gate; or to his food dish if it's time for a 'snack"...it's so funny, b/c he gets you to go where he wants you and then he looks back and forth at you and his dish....
We love this little guy more than anything in the entire world
