Just go to your skin type, pick a product, READ the customer reviews. Try some stuff - and return it if it doesn't work. Her product line is truly amazing - and the story behind how it all started (I used to see her on TV years back, before she ever did any product) is great.

Not to toot my horn, but I get compliments on my skin all the time (I'm 40) - and I use her stuff. I've tried all the expensive crap out there too. BUT, what I do use for base/powder (I have oily nose, the rest is rather dry) - is the Aveda dual powder (I use it dry, not wet) - it is to die for! I've never tried the powders from the website I linked above, only bc I've used Aveda's for years.
