There is no way to tell what the adult coat will look like when the pup is born. All yorkie pups are born black with tan points and the hair will be slick and shiney. By the time they are 8 weeks old the very flufffy puppy will probably grow up to have the incorrect soft coat and if it hasn't broken color at all on it's body and it's head is breaking to a bronzy tone instead of a clear silvery hue than it will probably remain very dark and the head will fail to clear. What you are looking for is a yorkie that does not conform to the standard, which is fine for a pet but I would not advise breeding it. There are already so many poorly bred yorkies that our precious breed is beginning to no longer resemble it's beautiful self.
